This guy was a big fan of my rigs and wanted to do a similar concept. I enjoyed his rigs too and it sparked my heart to see someone else who went through the same work I go through to produce his rigs. He has retired and left his work here for all to see. Due to circumstances outside of my control, my Dropbox account was closed in 2018 with no way to re-obtain the files. Q: So then why does this topic still exist?Ī: Mostly as a relic of the past to be archived. Since modelbench was introduced, the need to schematic rigs has since been put in the past.
(And being honest, making schematic rigs was super difficult in practice.) Should the files ever be re-obtained, I will put them in a download for all to use if anyone prefers the design of them which would make this post have some use.Ī: Most likely not.
I know that's hard to hear for some, but modelbench reeeaallly makes these rigs obsolete, and the Modelbench Armory is currently still kicking with twice the gumption so I'd give it a look-see if you want more of what this was. Should you still own any of the weapons, you may use the rigs however you wish. They can be even used for commercials! You don't even need to provide credit anymore! (although it's nice too provide sources.) They are released on Creative commons 0 where you can edit, use, and showcase the works in videos and images.
